May 18th - May 29th

Hello Soulsbyville Students,

Attached are the supportive instructional learning opportunities that are available for Ms. Reedy’s 7th and 8th-grade classes, as well as alternate work for Science and History.  This work covers material from May 18th until May 29th. The assigned work can be accessed: download the PDF files on Soulsbyville School's Website, digitally through google classroom, or you may complete the work packets that are available in the office, which is the same work that is on google classroom.  The schedule is left open that way each student can work on the assignments based on what works best for them and their family situation. I have been in contact with the general education History and Science teachers and I am offering an alternative class, which is available and can be done in lieu of Skutch's, Higgins, and Korte's course work (you do not have to do both classes, you can choose the option that works best for you, or you can participate in all classes too).  We will be doing a Zoom class meeting on Fridays from 11:00-12:00, which will give students an opportunity to clarify any questions and engage with peers. The Zoom link will continue to be sent out to student emails each Thursday and is the same code each week. Please email me if you have any questions.

Hello Parents and Students,

I have included 2 weeks of assignments that will help students remain engaged and build on skills that we have worked on in the classroom.I am confident that the students will be able to do most of the work independently, however, they might need some additional assistance with the vocabulary or with sentence starters in regards to the writing portion. Please modify any work as necessary, as this process is not meant to overwhelm our students. If you have any questions please email me and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Thank you,

Ms. Reedy
